Use NT Labs Pond Barleyclear when green water, algae, and blanket weed appears in the pond. This treatment consumes any phosphate, starving the algaes of their major food source, causing them to die off and improving water clarity and the general appearance of the pond.

Usage tips:

• Check your pond water quality too before use and test for ammonia, and nitrite. Do not use if ammonia or nitrite is present in the water. Reduce these levels first.
• Test for phosphate, if the levels are high, carry out a partial water change first (test the new water too). This will improve the effectiveness of the product.
• Control of blanket weed is best achieved by using Barleyclear before the water warms up in spring and continuing as and when required throughout the season.
• Increase aeration during treatment.
